We were proud to play a key role in the Wentworth Falls Lake access upgrade, delivering a complete concrete scope to improve access and usability at one of the Blue Mountains’ most iconic natural locations.
About the Project
Working in partnership with Entracon Civil, our team was engaged to complete a high-spec civil concreting package surrounding the new public boat ramp. The project demanded not only technical expertise but a solid understanding of structural concrete in a public, environmentally sensitive space.
We completed:
- New concrete boat ramp, designed to provide long-lasting durability and safe access for the community.
- Reinforced concrete driveways, 230mm thick with two layers of SL82 mesh, thickened edges, and crack inducers throughout to ensure a solid, stable surface under heavy loads.
- Concrete kerb and guttering, totalling 160 lineal metres around the boat ramp precinct for clean edge definition and efficient stormwater management.
- Concrete footpaths around the ramp zone to improve pedestrian accessibility and flow.
- Sealed expansion joints, professionally finished to minimise cracking and extend the life of the concrete.
